Ahhhh.
So today I performed the background vocals for this song Gimme Shelter. It’s a really awesome song, and the bgv’s are pretty tough. Last semester when I heard the 2nd semester kids do it I really loved it. I sat there thinking, I’m gonna work on this, so that when I go up there and sing it, it sounds super good. Like seriously, I practiced it so much. I’ve improved vocally since I first heard it, and based on what my friends told me, I did pretty well today. All great right? Well here’s why I’m super bummed out. I asked my friend to record it, and for some reason it didn’t work. I’m kinda weird about my performances.. I always want it to be recorded so I can listen back and critique myself. Plus I wanted to show my parents cause they couldn’t be there. But for whatever reason, it didn’t record. I know that probably sounds so insignificant but like.. I’m so bummed out right now. That song was such a big deal to me and ahhh.
Imma go cry now. Just kitten. Kinda.
